Amidst all the chaos in Turin caused by Conte’s sudden resignation and Allegri’s appointment, the club has taken another step in an attempt to calm the fire by unveiling a new signing. Beppe Marotta has finally snapped up Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid for €20m which includes a €30m buyback clause valid for his first two seasons in Bianconeri colors. Despite some initial difficulties in completing the deal due to Conte’s shock move, new coach Massimiliano Allegri managed to convince the 21 year old Spaniard to come to Turin. The highly rated youngster is due to fill the hole left by the departures of Mirko Vucinic and Fabio Quagliarella. Reports emanating from Italy indicate that Allegri will play his favored 4-3-1-2 although he was seen fielding a 4-3-2-1 during Juve’s pre-season training. Morata can easily fill in in both formations playing as a center forward. At times, he had been deployed on the flanks in Madrid but he was not as effective when he was playing as the main striker. Some refreshing news for Juve fans indeed, having to endure the pain of losing Conte and then witnessing the appointment of Allegri who was only recently sacked by Milan following a disastrous campaign. But in times like this, we have to do what we do best as fans, which is to fully back the club. After all, this is Juventus Football Club, not Antonio Conte Football Club. We survived Calciopoli and Serie B, hence there is absolutely no excuse that we can’t support the current title-winning team aiming to improve in Europe as well.

IERI, OGGI, DOMANI….SEMPRE JUVE!
